Penang Toy Museum bills itself as the world’s largest toy museum. It is home to over 100,000 dolls, trains and other collectibles and has earned a spot in the Malaysian Book of Records as the country’s first toy museum, with the largest toy and figurine collection.

According to the owner Loh Lean Cheng, the beginning of this Toy Museum start from the passion for toys collection. He was inspired with toys collection after visiting the London Toy and Model Museum at the age of 19. For the past 30 years,starting from the first toy that he bought in 1973 at 0.5 pound (Popeye), his collection just keeps on growing and growing. Today, almost everything that you ever think of can be found here.

Butterflies are beautiful creatures of the wild. The visitor to the Penang Butterfly Farm, finding himself surrounded by a myriad of fluttering butterflies within a seemingly natural setting, is likely to think himself in a sort of enchanted wilderness, bejeweled with the colorful gems of creation. Today, the Penang Butterfly Farm is the first tropical butterfly farm ever set up in the tropical world, with an average flying population of 4000 Malaysian butterflies of 120 different species, including the rare Indian Leafl (Kallima paralekta) and the endangered Yellow Bird wing (Troides helena).

Batu Ferringhi also has some of the nicest beaches on Penang Island. The long stretch of beach on the northern flank of Penang Island, of which Batu Ferringhi beach is part of, is combination of wide golden-sand beaches and picturesque deep blue-green coves hedged by large granite boulders that seem to have tumbled from the hilly interiors of the island, right into the sea. A lot of activities that can be carried out at here.(horse ridding, strolling along the beach, parachuting, banana boat, photo shooting & etc )

The Ship Restaurant is a theme restaurant in Batu Ferrenghi. It also serves seafood such as grilled lobster and tiger prawns, Continental cuisine ranging from roasted rack of lamb to spaghetti Bolognaise and more. Its appetizers include oyster Rockefeller, hors d'œuvre, smoked Norwegian salmon and various cocktails.
